Much like a Board of Directors in a traditional non-profit, the SHHTF Steering Committee is responsible for overseeing the execution of the Work Plan based on the approved Strategic Plan – including the financial aspects of the organization. The Steering Committee meets monthly while the larger Task Force meets every two months. The Steering Committee dives into issues at a deep level. In some cases, forwarding recommendations to the larger Task Force for consideration.
The Task Force Coordinator reports to the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee has two co-chairs who are elected by Task Force members and run on a staggered two year term.
